April

Toddler Baskets for April are themed around nature and the outdoors. Visitors interested in joining this daily program can meet in the Main Lobby/Ice Age Exhibit to meet an educator to walk outside to the play area. If you miss us, you can ask the front desk for directions to the play area by the Amphitheater.

Please note that this program is weather dependent, and guests should plan accordingly. In the event of inclement weather (freezing temps, heavy rain or wind, ice) we will instead switch to one of our indoor basket activities at Kids Park on the 1st floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions, let us help you out!

Q: Where can I find a schedule of upcoming shows during my visit?
A: Daily schedules are posted online, the front desk, and digital displays. You will also see QR codes that will take you directly to this page for easy viewing.

Q: Does the schedule change?
A: Public programs are scheduled each month and may be adjusted for holidays and special programming. We try to vary each month a bit so everyone can experience a variety of programs and shows.

Q: Is there a max capacity for programs?
A: Programs in enclosed spaces such as the Do Lab, Science Theater, and the Caryl D. Phillips Space Theater have capacity limits that we must abide by for everyone’s safety.

Q: Can I reserve a spot for public program?
A: All of our shows are held on a first-come first-served basis. We recommend arriving at a program location early.

Q: Can we leave a show if we change our mind?
A: Yes! However, please be aware that some programs have a policy of no re-entry once the program has started for the safety and enjoyment of all. We also require that all children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult, so keep that in mind should you decide to split your group up.
