April’s Theme: Catapults
Build your very own catapults and discover the physics of levers in action. Watch out-things are about to fly!
This hands-on program is for explorers ages 5 and up who want to dig deeper and uncover the “why” behind the world around them. Explore rotating science themes, from studying amazing live animals to engineering creative solutions or diving into chemistry and physics. Kids will test, tinker, observe, build, and investigate just like real scientists, then leave inspired to keep exploring long after they go home.

You are invited to our enhanced ABC+ Night at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, offering something for everyone! Hosted by the Trimbach, Hess, & Beran families, ABC+ Night features an amazing selection of rare bourbons, and now we have added locally crafted beer and award-winning wines.
Everyone will delight in a unique experience tasting a variety of flavors. Experience the museum your way! You can enjoy live music from a local harpist while relaxing in the Bieser Room of Wonders or visit Kevin the sand cat and his zoo friends.
